👍 Why Is National Girl Scout Day Important

“[Build] girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place,” according to the Girl Scout purpose. How could we not like an organization that aims to empower young women? We need the next generation to be both clever and kind, and Girl Scouts is attempting to provide just that. Queen Bey says it better than we could: “Who controls the world?” Girls!”

Please excuse our French; we are overjoyed about Girl Scout cookies. We’ve begun little battles with our buddies over which flavors are the greatest. It’s all thanks to those delectable rings of minty, chocolatey, and peanut-buttery bliss. We can’t get enough of them. We don’t want to give them up! We’ll gladly give up being healthy or in shape if it means we can eat a lot of these delicious cookies. Furthermore, a hot body is overrated, right?

Let’s be honest: without a Girl Scout, none of us would know how to create lanyards. You learned how to make your first lanyard from a Girl Scout, whether it was at summer camp or on the elementary school playground. We’re not sure why all Girl Scouts manufacture lanyards, but we’ve all benefited from them. What would life be like if lanyards didn’t exist? At the very least, backpack zippers would be far less swanky. Thank you very much, Girl Scouts.

🙂 How To Observe National Girl Scout Day

Spend time with your favorite Girl Scout
Have you ever come across a Girl Scout? It could be your own daughter or maybe a young cousin. Either way, take some time on National Girl Scout Day to let them know how much they mean to you and how special they are. Show them that they have the potential to make a difference in the world! Girl Scouts focuses on empowering girls, and on March 12, you can join in and contribute to this important cause.

Buy some cookies
We are excited to share that buying cookies will not only satisfy your cravings but also support a good cause! All the money earned from cookie sales goes right back into the organization. Even better, every single penny stays within your community, benefiting local projects and initiatives. Instead of sending your money to Girl Scouts headquarters, you’re directly contributing to the development and well-being of your own community. We think that’s absolutely amazing!

Create your own Girl Scout badge
Alright, so if you’re past the age limit for joining the Girl Scouts (and if you’re not, make sure you’re using the internet with your parents around), you can still have some fun by creating your own badges. Create challenges for yourself and when you complete them, reward yourself with personalized badges! For instance, if you’ve been wanting to go on a new hike but lacked motivation, why not make yourself a badge as a wilderness explorer? We’re being a bit playful here, but you get the concept.
