The book was so popular that it was translated into numerous languages and dialects across the globe.

During the third World Scout Jamboree in 1929, Baden-Powell was gifted a Rolls-Royce, which was affectionately named Jam-Roll. He also acquired an Eccles Caravan called Eccles Cake, resulting in a unique sight of a Jam-Roll pulling an Eccles Cake during the event. This combination suited the Baden-Powells’ travels throughout Europe. Baden-Powell’s influence on youth education was significant, as he played a crucial role in the growth of the global Scouting movement. By 1922, there were already more than a million scouts in 32 countries, and by 1939, the number had risen to almost 3.3 million.”
